Shipping and Returns


Curtain Express delivers all products to customers once orders and full payments have been received.

Shipping charges:

  • Orders below $500 will incur a $25 flat fee
  • Orders above $500, delivery is FREE

*Please note that if the customer lives in a remote area of Australia, they will incur the courier charges.

Approximate dispatch timings for products:

  • Ready made blinds: 3-5 business days
  • Ready made curtains/sheers: 5-7 business days
  • Accessories/hardware: 3-4 business days
  • Custom made blinds: 15-20 business days
  • Samples: 1-2 business days

All products will be delivered to your allocated shipping address via interstate courier companies or Australia Post.
The term ‘business days’ refers to working days (Monday-Friday) and excludes weekends and public holidays.

The aforementioned delivery times are an estimate only and can vary as a result of unforeseen circumstances that may be out of our control. However we will try our best to ensure that your products are delivered to you within this timeframe. If you need your products urgently, you may call us on 1300 763 056 and we will try and move your order forward, however we cannot guarantee that this will always be possible.
Curtain Express ship Australia wide only. We cannot accept international orders, nor can we deliver to PO Box addresses. The shipping address will be outlined on the paid invoice.

We use various courier companies as well as Australia Post to deliver your goods, however whichever mode of delivery that is chosen is under our discretion. Once the products have been dispatched with the nominated courier company, customers will be provided with a tracking/consignment number as well as the courier company’s name. Please ensure that you provide correct information for you shipping address when purchasing your goods as this address with go on your invoice, which is where we deliver the goods. Once you have fully paid for your products and the transaction is therefore finalised, we are not able to change the address for privacy and security reasons. Furthermore, once the goods are with the courier company, it is against that company’s law to change the shipping address.

If you would like to change the shipping address, you must contact the courier company directly with your consignment number and ask as to whether a change can be made. We are not responsible for any changes that may result from personal dealings between the customer and the courier company as ownership of the goods passes to the customer as soon as payment is made in full.


Curtain Express works hard to ensure that customers are satisfied with the products they receive. However, there are times where customers may need to return the products, therefore we aim to assist with this as much as we can. Our returns policy is as follows:

  •  Return of products must be done within 14 days of delivery
  • We are only able to accept returns that are ready-made products, not custom made (unless they are faulty). As custom-made products are specifically made for your measurements, we are not able to accept them, as we will not be able to resell them
  • If you are returning any ready-made products, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the product is repacked properly and securely, and in a resalable condition. Any damage to the products in transit is deemed to be the customer’s responsibility; therefore the returns cannot be processed
  • If you are returning damaged goods, please sign them as damaged on delivery and we will try to replace/repair them. We may require return of the damaged goods so please keep them. If there is no fault found on the returned goods, the customer will have to pay the additional administrative costs and the re-delivery costs and no refund will be available
  • To process your returns request we will need:
    – The customer’s full name
    – The invoice number
    – An email from the same email address provided on purchasing your goods confirming the request for a return
  • The money will be refunded in the same way in which it was paid. We are not able to refund the money via any other channel or into a different account for security reasons. The refund will be organised within 21 working days, once the refund has been approved
  • We reserve the right to approve or reject requests for returns/refunds under our company guidelines
